Yummy pancakes! Cool pancake races! And a lot of fun!

On Friday, February 16th we celebrated Pancake Day, also called Shrove Tuesday, at school. The students of our English club “Practical English” met in the afternoon to learn about the history and traditions related to Pancake Day. Once they had solved various Pancake Day puzzles of an escape room, it was time for pancakes races in the school yard. After that they had fun making pancakes and filling them with homemade jams, or sugar and lemon. What a great afternoon!
